Preparation and Luminescence Properties of Red Phosphor Sr2-xZnMoO6:xEu3+ Suitable for Near Ultraviolet and Blue Light Excitation
The Sr2-xZnMoO6:xEu3+ red phosphors were synthesized via the high temperature solid state reactions, which are suitable for nearly ultraviolet and blue light chips excited. The effect of the doping quantity of Eu3+ activator on
the luminescence properties was investigated. The X-ray diffraction patterns indicated that the sample is a pure phase of Sr2ZnMoO6:Eu3+. The excitation spectrum consists of a series of peaks and a charge transfer band. And the main excitation peaks are located
at 395 nm and 465 nm, originated of the 7F0→7L6 and 7F0→5D2 transition of Eu3+ ions, respectively. The main emission is located at 597 nm and 624 nm under the excitation of 395 nm and
466 nm, respectively, corresponding to 5D0→7F1 and 5D0→7F2 transition. The luminescent intensity firstly increased and then decreased with increasing Eu3+ content(x). The luminescent
intensity has the superior value at Eu3+ content x of 0.20. The effect of charge compensator of Cl-, Li+, Na+ and K+ ions on the luminescence properties were investigated. The results indicate the charge compensator of Li+ can
give the optimum effect.
