Abstract:
Summary We present a case of a 3-year-old child who underwent hepatic artery chemoembolization. The anaesthetic management, prophylaxis of tumour lysis syndrome, nausea and vomiting and the management of perioperative pain relief are all discussed.Keywords: anaesthesia; hepatic artery embolization; complications; tumour lysis syndrome; nausea and vomiting
