Significant Processing Parameters for Sintered Density, Phase Development, and Microstructure Observation of Sr2FeMoO6

Abstract:The processing parameters affecting the sintered density, phase development, and microstructure observation of Sr2FeMoO6 (SFMO) had been investigated. It was found that SFMO would decompose when even minute water was present during grinding process and the phases observed in the microstructures were very sensitive to the thermal-etching atmospheres. These results make the impact on the preparation of high quality and interpretation of the fundamental physics of SFMO.
