Glass‐Free Low‐Temperature Co‐Fired Ceramics Microwave Ceramic AW
AW1−x Te x O4 (A=Ca, Sr, Zn) ceramics with compositions of x=0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2 have been successfully designed as promising dielectric materials for low‐temperature co‐fired ceramics applications. All samples could be densified by sintering at 850°C/2 h. The crystal structure and microstructure of the compounds were investigated by X‐ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The microwave dielectric properties of the ceramics were studied with a network analyzer at the frequency of about 10 GHz. The doping of Te decreased the sintering temperature without affecting the microwave dielectric properties greatly when x<0.2. High Q×f value of >40,000 GHz was maintained for CaW1−x Te x O4 ceramics sintered at 850–900°C for 2 h. CaW0.9Te0.1O4 and SrW0.9Te0.1O4 could be co‐fired with Ag at 850°C/2 h in an ambient atmosphere.
