Abstract:

In the title compound, (C5H6ClN2)2[(Mo6Cl8)Cl6], the 2-ammonio-5-chloro­pyridine salt of the MoII chloride cluster shows a well defined N—H…Cl hydrogen-bond network. The anion is centrosymmetric.
