Abstract:

A case of postparotidectomy fistula in a 54-year-old man treated with a local injection of botulinum toxin type A is described. This case demonstrates a successful outcome with this new form of treatment. Other alternatives are also discussed. Botulinum toxin injection is a safe, effective and non-invasive method of treatment and should become popular in the future.
