The recent discovery of a planet in the Fomelhaut system ( Kalas et al. 2008 ) was notable in part because the existence of such a planet had been predicted in 2006 by Alice Quillen, a University of Rochester astrophysicist, in Monthly Notices of the RAS– but not cited in the discovery paper.
