Abstract:

This work is concerned with developing a theory of religion in modernity using the work of the architect and critic Adolf Loos. It is an inter-textual re-reading of Loos and critical readings of Loos, seeking to posit a developing Loosian theory as a possible new methodology for re-reading the tensions toward religion evidenced in modernity.
