Abstract:
The root √vī `trace, follow after' has a remarkable 3rd person sg. injunctive véh in the Rigveda. It is argued that the form is coined on the 2nd sg. present injunctive véh which itself has been reinterpreted as an aorist injunctive.Document Type: Research article
