Abstract:

The amphipod, Gammarus leopoliensis Jazdzewski & Konopacka, 1989, originally described from Poland, appears now to have been collected in Hungary already in 1959 and is herein reported from this country for the first time. A short description and drawings of the Hungarian specimens of the species are provided.
