Abstract:

Les Sergestides provenant des échantillons de plancton collectés à bord du navire INS "Kistna" pendant l'International Indian Ocean Expedition (IIOE) ont été étudiés. Sergestes semissis Burkenroad, 1940 est apparue comme l'espèce la plus abondante; elles est brièvement décrite. Des juvéniles ont également été étudiés et dix stades du développement, six chez le mâle et quatre chez la femelle, ont été reconnus, décrits et illustrés.
