The full text article is not available.

Nicolo Bonafede, papal administrator and bishop of Chiusi, undertook an ambitious building program in his patria, Monte San Giusto. His imposing palace, his improvements to the town's church and defenses, his country villa and garden, all served to assert Bonafede's devotion to the Church and papacy, the success of his military and administrative career, and his generosity and dynastic ambitions in his ancestral commune.
