Abstract:

Judi Menabney is development officer with Cultural and Leisure Services of the Highland Council and Project Manager for Baile Failte. The Highland Council is the government authority for the Highlands of Scotland; they own and manage the Highland Folk Museum, where the research and development project will be undertaken. The Highland Folk Museum preserves and presents a unique and internationally important collection pertaining to Highland folk life. Baile Failte is steered by a multi-agency group, including key development agencies and further-education institutions.
