Trained initially in engineering he later received a PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science. His major research interests lie in the area of technology and values. 2: David E. Wright is a faculty member of Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University. His graduate work was in the fields of American Studies and History. Currently his major research interest is in the relationship between popular culture and technical change.
