Abstract:
Summary. An illustration and description is provided for Asclepias barjoniifolia E. Fourn. This species is compared with A. pilgeriana Schltr., a second yellow-flowered species from the Andes of Bolivia and northern Argentina. Revised synonymies are outlined for each species, and five names are lectotypified. Thomas Bridges' travels in Bolivia are summarised briefly.Document Type: Research article
