Abstract

In a description of baseline characteristics of experimental and control families that are to be part of an evidence‐based intervention study, Sundelin et al. found, contrary to expectations, a negative association between high socio‐economic status (SES) and child outcomes.
Conclusion

: Allowing for possible study limitations, the results of Sundelin et al. further the argument that community‐based services should be provided universally to all children and families, rather than attempting to target services on the basis of SES.
