Ruthenium Nanoparticle‐Catalyzed, Controlled and Chemoselective Hydrogenation of Nitroarenes using Ethanol as a Hydrogen Source
This communication describes a ruthenium nanoparticle‐catalyzed reduction of nitroarenes giving azoxyarenes, azoarenes, or anilines in good to excellent yields using ethanol as a hydrogen source.
