Abstract:
We report multidetector row CT images of multiple gastrointestinal tumours in a patient with Type 1 neurofibromatosis who presented with haemoperitoneum. The use of CT demonstrated multiple, variably sized, ovoid, relatively well-enhancing masses in the intramural or subserosal location of the jejunum. The largest mass that showed a haemorrhagic necrosis caused haemoperitoneum. These imaging features are unique and differ from previous imaging features that have been reported in the radiological literature.- In this: publication
