Abstract:
The rapid microwave-assisted preparation of 3-substituted 2-imino-pyrido[2,3-e][1,3]oxazin-4-ones starting from N-aralkoxy-3-hydroxy-pyridine-2-carboxamides, 3-hydroxy-pyridine-2-carboxamides or 3-hydroxy-pyridine-2- carboxylic acid hydrazides and cyanogen bromide is described.Keywords: Microwave-assisted synthesis; 2-imino-pyrido[2,3-e][1,3]oxazin-4-ones; cyanogen bromide; 3-hydroxy-picolinic acid derivatives
