Tetra-n-Propylammonium Perruthenate (TPAP) Catalyzed Aerobic Oxidation of Hydroxylamines to Nitrones
Abstract:A novel aerobic, environmentally friendly oxidation of hydroxylamines to nitrones catalyzed by tetra-n-propylammonium perruthenate (TPAP) is reported. Complete conversions and reasonable to excellent yields were obtained for cyclic hydroxylamines.
