Using 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-1-thio-β-D-galactopyranose 1 as a model thioglycosyl donor, four different synthetic routes were explored to produce several types of original monoterpenyl thioglycosides.Keywords: monoterpenes; carbohydrates; thioglycosides
