Strategies on the Chinese Agricultural Supply Chains Management Based on the SCOR-Model in the E-Commerce Environment
Chinese traditional agricultural supply chain management has low efficiency. In recent years, in order to improve the life quality of farmers as much as possible, the Chinese Government has introduced many policies and has poured large sums of money into improving the traditional agricultural supply chain management. It is an interesting and meaningful research work to improve this management and plan for E-Commerce agricultural management. Based on the famous Supply Chain Operations Reference-model (SCOR) proposed by American Supply Chain Council and Characteristics of Chinese Agricultural Product Supply Chains (CAPSC), this paper begins with exploratory research for constructive strategies of CAPSC Management. This paper divides into 4 sections: the first to briefly introduce agricultural products supply chain and related concept of SCOR-model, the second to analyze characteristics of CAPSC and current existing problems in CAPSC, the third to give some constructive strategies for improving performance of CAPSC Management based on the SCOR-model in the E-commerce environment, the last to elaborate some key technologies and algorithms' design for realizeing CAPSC Management Information System. As the SCOR-model has seldom been applied to the agricultural product supply chain, the research in this paper is an innovation.
