This paper provides a review of multifunctional sensors on flexible substrates, so-called "Smart Skin." Possible applications and selected examples are discussed with measured figures of merit. The focus is on the sensing of temperature and touch, although other physical parameters are also mentioned. Since it is not the aim of this paper to concentrate on sensor integration, only a brief discussion of challenges and issues associated with integration is included.
