Abstract:
The effect of water in the reactant gas on the catalytic activity for CO oxidation over Au/Co3O4 catalysts has been investigated. Water in the reactant gas had a negative effect on the catalytic activity for CO oxidation in Au/Co3O4 catalyst. Furthermore, it was observed that the average particle size of gold on Au/Co3O4 catalysts increased after stability testing both in dry and wet conditions. Keywords: NANOSIZED GOLD CATALYST; CO3O4; CO OXIDATION; WATER EFFECT
