The Vertex PI and Szeged Polynomials of an Infinite Family of Fullerenes
Molecular descriptors play a significant role in chemistry, pharmacology, etc. Among them, topological indices have a embossed place. A topological index of a graph G is a numeric quantity related to G which is invariant under automorphisms of G. Fullerene era was started in 1985 by discovery of a stable cluster of C60. In this paper, the vertex PI and Szeged polynomials of an infinite family of fullerenes are computed.
