Abstract:

ACE gene plays an important role in the regulation of ACE. Since the first discovery, ACE gene polymorphism has been widely studied in various human populations all over the world. A summary of some recent reports on the allele frequencies of this significant polymorphism, as well as its impact on some important diseases, has been described according to the targeted countries and populations in this article.
