Development of the Complementation Gas Detection System
Abstract:The paper develops the complementation multi-gas detection system for the intelligent home. The system uses multiple gas sensors to detect environment of the home, and contains two parts. One is multi-gas detection module; the other is PC-based controller and hands-on controller. The multi-gas detection module communicates with the system controller via wire series interface or wireless RF interface, and can classified variety gases using logical filter method and Bayesian estimation algorithm. The gas sensors of the detection module use a NH3 sensor, an air pollution sensor, an alcohol sensor, a HS sensor, a smoke sensor, a CO sensor a LPG sensor and a nature gas sensor to be embedded in a chamber. The controller of the multi-gas detection module is HOLTEK microchip. The module can caution the users by the voice module. Finally, we present some experimental results to measure and decide the unknown target gases using the complementation gas detection system on the security system of the intelligent home.
