Polymorphism Testing Frameworks of Sequence Diagrams

The polymorphism is an important character of object oriented programs at runtime. However sequence diagrams of the unified modeling language can not describe the polymorphism, which lead to lack a test approach to test the polymorphism of sequence diagram. An approach is proposed to test the polymorphism sequence diagrams based on OCL constraints and satisfying set rules. The class sets of polymorphism methods was defined. An approach was proposed that sequence diagrams mapped to the polymorphism class object method acyclic graph. A polymorphism test system framework of sequence diagrams was created. A test paths and test data generatio algorithm was devise. The approach availability was verified by an application example. The results show that the approach can increase test coverage rates of sequence diagrams.
