Independent component analysis is based on higher order statistics characteristic of signal, which can find independent component in mixed data. In this article, a complex FastICA method is presented for removing the direct wave of stepped frequency ultra-wideband through-wall radar. Observation matrix is obtained by decomposing measurement matrix using SVD method. This method can separate the target signal and the direct wave signal, and reduce noise significantly. HFSS simulation software is used for three-dimensional model simulating. The data collected in simulation result is used for imaging. By comparing with the Interference Canceling method, complex FastICA method can obtain higher signal to noise ratio after imaging the targets. The image noise is small relatively, not enough to interfere with the judgments of the target.", }
