The friction and wear properties of such composites filled with different serpentine contents were evaluated on a MMU-5G friction and wear tester. It was observed that the anti-friction property of all composites was weakly dependent on the serpentine content. The friction coefficient was stable and varied slightly during the steady-state sliding, while the anti-wear properties were significantly improved with the incorporation of serpentine in all composites. When the mass fraction of serpentine particle was 0.5%, the composite showed the best wear resistance.", }
