The airborne fan's relationship between flow and pressure head under different flying heights must be understood. The whole system in the test of fan's flow and pressure head for all altitudes mentioned in this paper was constituted by 5 main parts, which are parts of (1) high-pressure gas source, (2) flow regulation and measure, (3) steady pressure simulation, (4) test and (5) all altitudes simulation. The performance test method was verified by the dimensionless relations at three different rotating speeds in an x-type axial fan test. Taking advantage of the test method, the fan's characteristics of the relationship between flow and pressure head under different flying heights can be easily deduced from the ground pressure test results.
