Dielectric Behavior of Iodomolybdate Glass-Nanocomposites
We have reported the variation of real and imaginary parts of dielectric constants (ε′, ε′′) in the wide range of frequency (40 Hz–110 MHz) of as-prepared and the heat-treated samples 0.70AgI-0.15Ag2O-0.015Cu2O-0.135MoO3 at room temperature. The formations of α-AgI and β-AgI nanocrystals are confirmed from FE-SEM study. The variation of ε′ and ε′′ with frequency are well-explained. The observed dielectric behavior is qualitatively explained in the light of Maxwell-Wagner interfacial type of polarization and Koops phenomenological theory. The energy loss is measured by the dielectric loss factor (tanδ).
