Abstract:
Tvaryanas AP. Cases from the aerospace medicine residents teaching file: furunculosis. Aviat Space Environ Med 2004; 75:10051008.A case is presented of an aviator with frequent dermatologic lesions concerning for recurrent furunculosis that was caused by community-acquired methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus. The presentation, diagnosis, treatment, and aeromedical disposition of recurrent furunculosis are discussed.Document Type: Research article
