Abstract:

In the present paper, the conductivity and infrared absorption of La1-xBaxCoO3 conductive ceramics have been investigated. Results show that with increasing x, the resistivity decreases, undergoes a minimum at x=0.5, and then increases with further increases of x. The conductive ceramic with the largest infrared absorption peak corresponds to the smallest resistivity. Meanwhile the conducting mechanism of La1-xBaxCoO3 conductive ceramics have been investigated. Copyright 1998 Academic Press.
