Abstract:

We define a generalization of the Shapovalov form for contragradient Lie algebras and compute its determinant for Generalized Verma modules induced from a well-embedded sl(2, Copf) subalgebra. As a corollary we obtain a generalization of the BGG-theorem for Generalized Verma modules. Copyright 1999 Academic Press.
