Abstract:

Recent developments in the publication of the Journal of Biological Chemistry (JBC) are discussed, particularly the development of the electronic version of the Journal, JBC Online, and the opportunities and challenges that this mode of publication has presented to its publisher, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) and its mission of service.
