effect of some traditional and IDRD insecticides against Unaspis euonymi and Carulaspis juniperi (Homoptera: Coccoidea)
Abstract:Some traditional and several nontoxic new selective compounds were tested against Unaspis euonymi and Carulaspis juniperi .The effectiveness of compound Agrol was only between 75 and 85%in spring treatment.In the summer treatments Zolone reduced heavily the number of eggs,but selective compounds reduced only about 50%.Zolone,Applaud and Aware significantly reduced the number of all instar,and even in autumn there was significantly less overwintering female after treatments.Vektoricid shows a similar good effect.But the Insegar in some cases was less efficient. The infestation with natural enemies of U euonymi was extremely low,nd the C.juniperi had a medium high infestation with natural enemies.
