Cladosporium humile is one of the most important pathogens of Populus ciliata in the Western Himalayas.During 1996 –97,a total of 11 systemic and nonsystemic fungicides as post-symptom sprays at 3-week interval,were evaluated for their efficacy against C.humile causing leaf spot disease in the nurseries. The disease development was rapid during the month of June and July.Minimum mean disease incidence (14.03%)and area under disease progress curve (2.99)was recorded in Score.Kribenomyl provided minimum increase in disease incidence (2.92)and infection rate (0.002/unit/day).Minimum disease index (25.72%)and maximum disease control (56.44%)was found in Kribenomyl and Neem oil sprays.
