The Effect of Blade Root Properties on the Natural Mode Shapes, Bending Moments, and Shears of a Model Helicopter Rotor Blade
Abstract:This paper presents the results of a brief study made to determine the effect of blade root properties on the natural mode shapes, bending moments, and shears of helicopter rotor blades. The study consisted of computing the vibration modes of a model helicopter blade with four different root fitting configurations.
