Critical Criminology and Its Discontents: A Response to Travers' Critique of Criminal Justice Evaluation

Abstract:
In a recent article in this journal Max Travers advanced the view that criminal justice evaluation is boring, biased and beset with methodological problems. As evidence of this he cited (among other things) an evaluation of the NSW Drug Court carried out by the present author and several of his colleagues.
