Abstract:Composers, poets, and the author were invited to create an evening of music, dances, and poetry that represented the work of Dan Tapper, a master stone sculptor. “Touch,” a dance piece inspired by the sculpture “Harmony” (two carved images touching as if they were lying next to each other), was the most successful. This article describes the creative process that led to this work's success.
