A new calculation technique of the extraterrestrial parameter for column ozone observations made by spectrophotometers
An improved version of the Langley method is presented based on a recently developed variation method for the extraterrestrial parameter calibration of the spectrophotometers that perform column ozone observations. Special attention is given to the case when the diurnal trend of the
column ozone observations is linear.
