Search plug-in
What is it?
Firefox, a free web browser that you can use as an alternative to Internet Explorer, has a multiple search engine toolbar feature. You can search from the toolbar, and specify the search engine you want to use. The IngentaConnect plug-in allows you to add IngentaConnect to the list of available search engines.
How do I get it?
Click to install the plug-in to add IngentaConnect to the list of available search engines.
How do I use it?
In the Firefox browser, next to the URL bar, there is a small entry box. Click on the icon at the left of the box and a list of the available search engines will appear.
- Select the IngentaConnect mosaic icon
- Enter your search term
- Hit Go to conduct your search.
Electronic articles available on IngentaConnect and matching your search term, will appear in an IngentaConnect search results page in your browser window.
